What our visitors say about this beautiful - Culebra Island Villa
"We just returned from a three-week stay at Casa
Azul, and loved every minute of it. Your property affords such beautiful views--we
couldn't have hoped for any better. And the house itself is very comfortable. We
especially enjoyed the two hammock swings on the front porch--we spent many mornings
reading in them, but only after taking in the sunrise views from the back deck.
The washer was an added bonus--we only used it once, but it was very handy.
Two more things to share with you: your information about the beaches was very helpful
to us, we referred to it often; and I'm not sure if Raquel at Vacation Planners
actually works for you or for a bigger company, but she is an absolute gem--we loved
her and she was extremely helpful with any questions or issues we had. She actually
loaned us a personal item or two to make our stay a little easier--I hope she is
being well compensated.
Hope to visit again sometime! "

"We loved Culebra, particularly the beaches! We also loved the location of your house.
We hope to come back to Culebra and even the Casa Azul House in the future."

"My friends and I went to Culebra on spring break and rented out this cute Doll House. It had room for us all and was totally clean with hot running water. My friend Tyler and I loved getting up to watch the sunrise every morning from the deck out back, and the sunsets every evening were equally amazing from the front of the house. I have never been to a place that totally stocked the kitchen for you, but the Doll House had everything we needed to enjoy wonderful meals every day we were there.
Flamenco beach is probably the best beach in the world, it's like a sanctuary. The water is amazing, crystal blue, warm and refreshing, great for swimming. I absolutely loved the food and drink vendors in the parking lot, it was very convenient for when hunger strikes you and not to mention that the food is all fresh and made with love.
To get around the island you really should get a rental car. We used Carlo's Jeep Rental as it was right near the airport so easy to pick up and drop off. They are great people and nice to rent from. While Culebra is small it is well worth asking your rental agent for guidance about where to go and the best times of day to be in one bay or the other so you can learn the tides.
It was so wonderful to visit Culebra. The locals are so friendly and nice to you. It was surprising how many Americans are there who came on vacation and then stayed. Now that I have visited, I can see why they would. The food is delicious as well with a number of good local spots serving fresh produce and local flavor.
It was just amazing to see the coral reefs. They are so healthy and full of fish and ocean life. As a person that enjoys snorkeling I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to rent gear. There are a number of beaches that have great snorkeling options like Tamarindo beach which is near to Flamenco Beach, another great snorkeling spot. Ocean kayaking is also a wonderful thing to do as the water is so clear and fairly calm.
I was totally amazed at how much Culebra had to offer. I had never heard of it before, but I am totally a fan now and will return many, many times. "
